We need active support for the ongoing maintenance of our nearly 260 hiking trails covering over 3.000 km.

Do you enjoy being outdoors in nature, have a favorite route, and like to do things for your region and the community? Then becoming a trail steward or a trail marker might be just the thing for you. A trail stewardship is a volunteer position where you're the contact person for one or more trails in the field. As a trail marker, you'll support us with trail marking by arrangement. 

Whether as a trail steward or trail marker, in both cases you will participate in a 2-3 hour training course on proper trail marking according to the criteria of the German Hiking Association before starting your work. This ensures consistent quality throughout the entire nature park.
