Landhaus Bärenmühle

Nestled between forest and meadows, the Bärenmühle sits enthroned in the valley, a stylish refuge in magical nature on the edge of the Kellerwald National Park. Away from the usual beaten path, you can experience a world of silence and authenticity, where nothing but the babbling of a stream and the chirping of birds frame the stylish, historic ambience of the mill. In the listed property you can spend the night as romantically as with the old millers, but with the comfort of today. The dozen or so rooms and suites are furnished in an elegant country house style and tell stories of the region. You can set off on hiking tours right outside the front door; the paths wind through lovely meadow valleys, past old mills, castles, church ruins and dreamy villages. Later, the Bärenmühle's "Wellnest" invites you to relax, with a sauna house, log fire and massage options.

The prices include heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and table linen. They generally apply to occupancy by two people; each additional adult is charged 45 euros per night plus meals, and for children under 12 years 25,00 euros plus meals. Baby cots are set up for 12,50 euros. For stays of just one night, a surcharge of 10 euros is generally charged on all rooms, suites and apartments. If you stay more than a week, we offer a family holiday discount.

For dogs we charge a one-off cleaning surcharge of 20 euros per dog; if you stay for several weeks, the fee applies to one week. For stays with daily hotel cleaning service, the dog costs 12 euros per day.

The equipment in the rooms and apartments includes a hairdryer and make-up mirror, satellite television, radio, CD player and cassette recorder; some have kitchenettes with dishwashers, some with ovens; VCR or DVD player upon request. Bathrobes and warm slippers are also provided upon request.
