We are part of a large family
Our alliance unites 141 National natural landscapes (NNL) and consists of 16 national parks, 104 nature parks, 18 biosphere reserves and 3 wilderness areas in Germany. Together, we are committed to nature conservation, climate protection and sustainable living on one-third of the country's land area.
Ob National park, Nature Park, Biosphere reserve or wilderness area – we all stand for the protection of biodiversity, natural climate protection, and the preservation of our natural resources. We research, inform, and inspire. Our goal: to raise awareness of the beauty and value of nature and give them confidence for a sustainable future.
Together we invite everyone to preserve fascinating nature, to experience joy in and with nature and to shape the future with confidence in a sustainable and climate-neutral way.
