Our nature park has a special unique selling point:
It “encloses” the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.

What could be better than building a common network?

The Kellerwald-Edersee National Park has been working with partner companies for several years who pursue a common goal: inform guests about the region and enable a sustainable and environmentally friendly stay. We explain how this works below.

In 2024, the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park joined the existing network: There is now National park and nature park partners.

About the partner network

What is a national park and nature park partner?

These are leisure, catering or accommodation businesses that work closely with the nature park and the national park. To receive the partner certificate, companies must meet certain criteria.

What criteria are there?

Partner companies…

are happy to share their knowledge about the protected areas with their guests
attach importance to sustainability (e.g. regional products, cleaning products, energy supply, waste separation)
meet a total of almost 100 criteria

How do guests benefit from the network?

Guests...

can use local public transport free of charge
You get discounts, for example in the wildlife park, in the national park center or on nature park tours
go on holiday as sustainably as possible with a clear conscience
