Experience nature, history and breathtaking views on the 14,7 km long Immighausen circular trail (Off to the Monastery).
The Immighausen circular trail starts at the hiking car park near the village community centre and takes you through and around the village of Immighausen.
You hike through natural areas characterized by agriculture and forestry, partly along the Lichtenfels Panorama Trail. The varied circular route leads along numerous nature trails to the 490 m high Höhnscheid, the highest point on the route. Here you will be rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view of the idyllic landscape that blooms in spring. The path continues to the former Gut Schaaken monastery, whose imposing ruins are still impressive today. Then you head back towards Immighausen, where you will soon see the first houses of the starting point.
