Route 2 leads through the old town center of Braunau, past the old baroque church from 1728 and then through a meadow valley along the Wälzebach. The route remains steeped in history; after a section on the Kellerwaldsteig, it leads past an old hat tree, the “Carved Oak”. There the route also touches on ARS NATURA with an art installation. A hut invites you to take a break. After about 5,5 kilometers, the path leads past colorful fields and the Braunauer Warte back to the parking lot.
