A beautiful route that leads around 3,5 kilometers around the over 500 meter high Dietrichshagen.

Route 1 leads around 3,5 kilometers around the over 500 meter high Dietrichshagen. On the Kellerwaldsteig you go past the simple, beautiful, originally Romanesque Hüddinger Church, a little way through the dreamy meadow valley of the Dreisbach to the magical natural monument “Totenpfuhl”. There is a 1000-year-old oak tree at the “Himmelsteich”, a swamp that is only fed by rainwater. According to a legend, a team of horses with a coffin is said to have sunk there. In between you have a wonderful view of the forested mountains of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.
