Route 3 follows the Eder until it leads to the Büraberg. From here Boniface missionized the Chatti. After passing through the south-east gate of the former castle complex, the Way of the Cross leads to the mountain chapel of St. Brigida. The route circles the Büraberg and returns along the Eder.

- The foundation walls of the St. Brigida Chapel are dated to the middle of the 6th century. This makes it one of the oldest sacred buildings north of the Alps.
