The Asel bat nature trail is largely integrated into circular route 2, with informative stations providing exciting insights into the life of the flying mammals. A small exhibition is housed in an old transformer station. Here, infrared cameras provide a live insight into the bats' nursery. Thanks to committed human help, the Asel bat population was secured in the long term.
