Route 1 leads along the river bank through the Orke floodplain landscape. After leaving the river valley, we pass through the idyllic Oberorke through a cultural landscape characterized by small farming. A language barrier is also crossed here. The Low German influence continues to this day in Niederorke, while a completely different dialect is spoken in Oberorke.
