Route 1 leads through the valley of the Ruppenbach upstream, past the Rothhelmshausen water treading area and lawn as well as works of art by ARS NATURA to the “Dicke Buche” refuge. Through the quiet deciduous forests of the Hinterwald we go into the valley of the Osterbach.
