Route 2 leads through a richly structured cultural landscape in the Hüttenroder Bachtal to the Ohrberg. Oak and beech forests accompany the circular route around the summit. Favored by the abundant wood supplies and valuable raw materials such as lead and iron, Armsfeld flourished during the early mining and iron industries. The Armsfeld church was also built during this time.
