Route 7 is almost 2 kilometers long and leads through the deep forests at Hirschsprung to the “Paradies” nature reserve. Old, gnarled trees are impressive there, representing the remains of a former Hute forest. The Wesetal educational trail also leads past the “Spicke” hiking car park. This adventure trail informs hikers and cyclists at twelve attractive stations on the topics of history, culture, nature and water in the Wesetal and takes them back in time for a moment through authentic traditions from ancient times.
