Hiking parking spaces and hiking boards

Hiking parking spaces have been set up throughout the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park and can be recognized from the street by a blue traffic sign.

Once you have arrived at the hiking car park, several circular routes start from there, which are usually marked with numbers 1-3 or with their own topic-specific symbols. You can find information about the hiking trails and the region on the hiking boards that every parking lot is equipped with.

Parking in the hiking car parks is free of charge.

Runners and markers

So that you always know exactly where you are going, you will find regular information about the route along the way.

The marking signs are usually attached to marker runners, existing posts or trees. Look out early for intersections and forks!

You will also find these signposts throughout the nature park. They serve as orientation and give you the distances.
