The Kellerwaldsteig, a quality trail in Germany, takes you through the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park with numerous geological, natural history and historical sights. 

Discover the diverse Kellerwald forest on a 164 km hiking trail: landscapes with forests, meadows and streams, historic castles, spa towns and picturesque villages, the Frankenau Arche region, the Edersee lake and the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. 

Let your soul unwind and let your gaze wander over the vast landscape from the Kellerwald Tower in the Wüstegarten.

 

   

Our tip: trekking places

On the northern loop of the Kellerwaldsteig there are new Trekking placesthat allow you to spend the night in nature. Alternative route, which connects the Kellerwaldsteig between Hüddingen and Frankenau, the trail can be hiked in a north or south loop.
